About
Building character, developing players, and serving our community through baseball and softball since the mid-1960s.
To provide a fun and competitive summer ball experience focused on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill building β for every kid in the La Crescent-Hokah community.
La Crescent Youth Ball has been a cornerstone of this community for more than 60 years β organized youth baseball was documented as part of La Crescent's summer recreation program by 1965, with dedicated girls softball added in 1967. We serve hundreds of families every summer across baseball and softball β from 6-year-olds discovering the game for the first time to 14-year-olds competing at the highest youth level.
LYB is run entirely by a volunteer board of community members who are passionate about youth sports and La Crescent.
