Competitive kid pitch on 60-foot bases — Silver and Gold division play.
10U Baseball operates in two competitive tiers — Gold and Silver — allowing teams to compete against appropriate competition levels. Both tiers play on 60-foot base paths with a 46-foot mound.
Stealing rules differ by tier: Gold division allows stealing after 1 out when the ball crosses home plate; Silver division requires 2 outs before a runner may attempt to steal. The walk rule applies only to Silver: after 3 walks in an inning, the coach pitches when the batter reaches ball 4. Gold has no walk limit.
Bunting is allowed for Gold but not for Silver/Bronze — consistent with skill development. The infield fly rule is in effect. Dropped third strike is not in effect at 10U.

Pitch Count / Arm Protection
SRAA limit: 75 pitches per day. Rest rules: 1–20 pitches = 0 days rest; 21–35 pitches = 1 day rest; 36–50 pitches = 2 days rest; 51–65 pitches = 3 days rest; 66–75 pitches = 4 days rest. Pitcher who hits more than 2 batters must be replaced.
Coach's Note
"Pitch count logs must be kept at every game. The rest schedule is longer at 10U than 8U/9U — a pitcher throwing 51–65 pitches needs 3 full days of rest. Use the team scorebook to track. Coaches who exceed pitch count limits risk forfeit and league discipline. Know your tier rules — Gold and Silver have different walk and stealing rules."
Players born in 2016 or 2017 are eligible for 10U Baseball (must turn 10 by March 1, 2026). Players who turn 11 after March 1, 2026 may also play 10U.
Bat
27"–29" bat, drop -10 or lighter. USA Baseball certified. Barrel max 2¾".
